Protein Bars And Southbeach Phase 1

Water is a public good

L'organizzazione World Health Organization to set the limit at around 50 liters less than the amount of water needed daily to every person as we are away?
How much water we waste and why we continue to buy it instead of doing so is available to all 'Cause it seems normal to enter a bar and buy a bottle of mineral rather than ask for a glass of water?

Wednesday, February 11 was held the first meeting of the path "sustainable neighborhood" which I have already talked in some previous posts.
The course was designed as part of an association of the world fair - in cooperation with the international solidarity Turin, to raise awareness society on the environment and to create a revolution that comes from below, by individual citizens.
Environmental issues in my opinion should become part of common ethics, but how to behave, what one thinks is right or wrong does not change overnight, is part of a slow process in which many of us can convey.
Perhaps the participants in this kind of meetings are mostly people who are already quite aware of the main environmental problems, but are looking for new challenges and solutions: I recognize myself in this group.
I doubt, however, a person totally unrelated to these issues can take a course like this, for these people who must scatti una molla, bisogna che si smuova quell'ingranaggio che fa porre delle domande, che invita a modificare le proprie abitudini.

This may be because the legislation they are subject to the mineral water is different than water 's water supply.

fraction of the cost of concessions
One of the reasons that makes it easy for companies costrure wealth is the water fraction of the cost of the concessions paid to the municipalities.
Some municipalities have tried to increase the cost of these concessions, but the companies have risen up, because in this way would not be able to bear the costs and would go out of business.

Environmental impact
The indiscriminate use of water sources by some mineral water companies in some cases has caused the depletion delle stesse fonti.
Vedi

Some companies have begun to propose doing a good "green rinse.
Both materials are not in fact obtained from the same recycled bottles and biodegradable (bio bottle "- degradation time 80 days) can not be recycled.
PET plastic bottle is usually only partially for recycling, the rest ends up in landfills or incinerators, this is a fact.
The collection unfortunately does not work anywhere and with the same efficiency. But
all, it's better to recycle or not to produce is not needed? Obviously the second!

The public water is safe?

The water is to be widespread in aqueduct is subjected to double-check, the manager of the aqueduct and the ASL, also the controls are more frequent than mineral water to private companies. The safety of public water is guaranteed up to the counter of their home.

Hardness
Often there is the problem of the water too hard, here is the definition of hardness .
The water distributed by waterworks in general and sweet or medium hard, there are mineral waters that far exceed the hardness in tap water instead.
It seems that the hardness result in health problems for humans, even water could be too sweet deprive us instead of an important source of calcium.

Privatization
operators of waterworks by 2010 should be dispensed with to privatize the public company that is currently still in line with Directive of the European Union.
The only way to avoid this is that the statutes of the municipalities concerned will introduce an amendment to declare that their water "has no economic significance."
Some examples such as the case of Latin make it clear that the privatization is not desirable.
There would also be a likely increase in costs in the bill.

Alternative
definitely prefer the public water, if you can not a utilizzarla l'unica vera alternativa allo spreco di materiali e all'inquinamento è l'acqua in bottiglia di vetro di piccole aziende locali possibilmente con vuoto a rendere, non si tratta di un'utopia, in Italia ormai è poco utilizzato ma all'estero la diffusione è maggiore, anche in Italia una volta era più diffuso.

I found very useful Someone wants to give us this book drinking Giuseppe Altamore
bought last year at the book fair, the book was not mentioned during the meeting, it is only one of my previous reading.

For information on water hardness in their common link

Meanwhile I hope that more people forgo the purchase of mineral water when not needed.
Unfortunately, I know not many people who use the water safely to the mayor, we drink water from turin two years, the problem of chlorine we solved easily by filling the bottles and leaving them open for a few hours to let it evaporate.
Every day I carry in the office drinking water, maybe I can seem exaggerated, but I do not trust plumbing of the building where I work, there are no suitable taps in which everyone can fill his bottle, and I'm not going to buy one bottle for this reason.
I still can not overcome their shyness in asking for tap water in the bar where usually lunch, I would absolutely improve this, I remember once at a time when the minerals were not so common I was rather naturale.Bei times !

imbrocchiamola on the campaign website was available in a form which indicate the places that offer tap water, when it seems that the section is not available, we hope will be restored soon.

Among the bloggers I know who have spoken recently of the argument segnalo:
consumption less

Certainly many have talked about, the topic is not new, unfortunately I can not remember the post but ...

In closing, I make a clarification on the various campaigns for public water: The main intention is to enhance the water as well as essential and therefore common good, available to all, do not forget that there are places in the world where this is still far from being so, these campaigns do not intend, as I understood to prohibit the bottling and selling water, simply hope to reduce this market and to prevent the privatization of companies which manage water systems.

in favor of mineral water I can say that in some cases may have its uses, such waters are very rich in calcium, which are useful for some people or period of life, but due to their hardness, however, may not be a drink usual.
It should also pay attention to the content of certain pollutants both in the mineral water is in the public, not enough for the analysis demonstrate that all the parameters of the law have been complied with, in some cases the water may still be unsuitable for infants up nitrate content. In this regard
carry two links:

to what is written in one of these articles the problem should only affect children under 6 months (and if so should be fed mostly ...).
I have not experienced it many other sources, provides input and who passes through here so if you would have to investigate. The network
as always is available to all doctors as well. Finally
