The film I liked and I leave from my own impressions to write a post dedicated to Blog Action Day 09 on climate change.



The film / documentary is set in the future and shows the planet in 2055 totally devastated.
Humanity has managed to preserve itself, has failed to act to prevent those changes who destroyed the world itself in which he lives, there have been wars, famines and other disasters, all avoidable if the man was not stupid, hence the name of the movie.

I state that I do not like the attitude castrofista, I think the negative messages too can remove some kinds of people, rather than involve them in solving the problem.
While in fact some are inclined to act even to the suspicion of a devastating change, others are convinced, they would say, but then if there's nothing to do why complicate life? Better to enjoy as much as possible the remaining period!

Nonostante la mia premessa sono convinta che indipendentemente da quale sia questo punto di non ritorno valga la pena agire, quando si parla di previsioni è sempre possibile che qualcosa di inaspettato accada , ma sono certa che popolazione e governi debbano fare la loro parte.
In molti so che non sarebbero d'accordo, d'altronde ci sono persone che non vanno dal medico o non fanno analisi per paura di scoprire che qualcosa non va, pur continuando a lamentare dei fastidi.
Agire per contrastare il cambiamento climatico è un fatto altruistico e lungimirante, è uno dei migliori regali che si possano fare alle generazioni future, il nostro scopo è la prosecuzione della specie, nel miglior modo possibile, agire diversamente sarebbe stupido.

L'umanità ha compiuto enormi progressi nel tempo, solo una parte al momento vive dignitosamente, una piccolissima parte vive negli eccessi, gli altri sono al limite della sopportazione e sono sfruttati.
Il messaggio che più mi è piaciuto del film è stato il mettere in evidenza come sia necessario un maggiore equilibrio, non si può pensare che tutti abbiano l'impatto ambientale di un americano o di un europeo e tuttavia ogni persona su questa terra ha diritto a vivere dignitosamente.
La soluzione ovviamente è quella di diminuire, noi che possiamo, il nostro impatto, ovvero i nostri sprechi, usando il nostro cervello per creare tecnologie che rendano questo possibile, modificando la legislazione per far si che la tutela ambientale diventi equivalente alla tutela delle persone, smettendola di sentirci altro rispetto alla natura e agendo con le nostre scelte quotidiane.


Al più presto vedrò anche The Planet , film che
secondo la recensione racconta il cambiamento climatico in modo ironico e accattivante, la regia è di Stenberg e Soderberg.

Ho appena letto l' articolo online sul risparmio energetico pubblicato su Terra Nuova del 15/09/2009 e sono rimasta un poco perplessa su come viene sminuito l'impegno di chi cerca anche nel suo piccolo di dare un contributo al risparmio energetico.
Io sono convinta che il mare sia fatto di tante gocce e di conseguenza dare il proprio contributo, nella maniera in cui lo si ritiene opportuno, è sempre meglio del fare nulla. Tuttavia leggendo questo articolo sembra che il popolo piuttosto ampio di persone che non può permettersi o semplicemente proprio non può fare interventi alle proprie abitazioni, per renderle ecoefficienti, sbagli completamente o peggio voglia lavarsi la coscienza, cercando nel proprio piccolo di scegliere in maniera accurata gli elettrodomestici o le lampadine.
Perchè mi infastidisce questo discorso?
Semplice: perchè faccio parte di quella categoria di persone che fa quel che può, che ha letto diversi libri sull'ambiente, sul risparmio energetico, sull'alimentazione e che cerca di mantenersi aggiornata e mi dispiace che si parli di lavaggio di coscienza in riferimento a tutte quelle persone che hanno potuto SOLO cambiare le lampadine della propria house, buy a washing machine and put class A + +-reducing flow to taps.

Si usano spesso le stesse parole di accusa verso chi devolve donazioni verso associazioni benefiche, per esempio che si occupano di progetti nei paesi del terzo mondo, oppure altre cause...lavarsi la coscienza...non mi scende giù questa frase...non tutti vogliamo o possiamo diventare volontari nel terzo mondo e non sono nemmeno sicura che questa sarebbe la soluzione.

Ho un difetto: raramente riesco a seguire una ricetta fino in fondo, da quando ho scoperto poi che anche i dolci possono
essere modificati a piacimento è la fine, si salvi chi può.

Perchè allora cucino poco?Perchè alla fine i post di cucina sul blog non sono così numerosi?
Semplice,perchè ho poco tempo sia di cimentarmi in cucina sia di scrivere, inoltre ciò che spesso
prepariamo in casa è talmente semplice da risultare banale, in confronto alle prelibatezze che girano normalmente sui foofblog.

Per non parlare poi degli insuccessi culinari...
E' sempre stata mia intenzione in realtà condividere anche questi, perchè sono interessata al dialogo, ai consigli e
eventualmente a fornire esempi da non ripetere, ma anche su questo argomento ho latitato.

Vorrei tentare di cambiare strada, d'altronde l'ho fatto più volte, il blog aperto a fine 2006 è rimasto li, fermo,

Non mi voglio arrendere, so che per la mia piccola famigliola va bene anche così, ma non basta a me.

E così dopo aver sentito al primo accenno di primavera ho deciso: cucina sia!

Non si tratta in realtà dei primi corsi che frequento, due anni fa infatti ho partecipato a uno dei corsi di cucina di base proposti nell'ambito del progetto DIANA dell'istituto nazionale dei tumori di Milano, una bellissima esperienza: un corso teorico pratico illuminante, sia per le spiegazioni in tema di corretta alimentazione preventiva sia per gli spunti in cucina.
Non escludo ad oggi di frequentare ancora delle lezioni a tema presso l'INT, vediamo fin dove mi spinge la brezza.

Allora mi sono buttata a capofitto nell'uso di nuovi ingredienti, ma ho capito adesso che ho bisogno di approfondire e di creare un mio equilibrio.

Non vedo l'ora!

Environmental issues in my opinion should become part of common ethics, but how to behave, what one thinks is right or wrong does not change overnight, is part of a slow process in which many of us can convey.
Perhaps the participants in this kind of meetings are mostly people who are already quite aware of the main environmental problems, but are looking for new challenges and solutions: I recognize myself in this group.
I doubt, however, a person totally unrelated to these issues can take a course like this, for these people who must scatti una molla, bisogna che si smuova quell'ingranaggio che fa porre delle domande, che invita a modificare le proprie abitudini.
Sono convinata che tutti noi possiamo contribuire a far smuovere quell'ingranaggio, io nel mio piccolo almeno ci voglio provare, con pazienza, con comprensione, con empatia ,la rabbia non serve, allontana le persone e blocca gli ingranaggi.

All'incontro di mercoledì sul tema dell'acqua pubblica è intervenuto principalemte Luca Martinelli di Altreconomia.
All'inizio della serata sono stati forniti alcuni materiali utili per approfondire l'argomento: articoli di altreconomia e la guida " Piccola guida al consumo critico dell'acqua " in regalo.

Di seguito riporto i punti discussi durante la serata:

Pubblicità ingannevole :
Alcune aziende produttrici di acqua in bottiglia hanno spesso utilizzato pubblicità scorrette per incentivare gli acquisti, in alcuni casi sono anche state multate dall'antitrust.
Sembra che negli ultimi 20 anni il consumo di acqua minerale sia triplicato e con esso ovviamente i viaggi dei camion e le bottiglie di plastica.
Sono stati investiti tanti soldi in pubblicità proprio per convincere in ogni modo le persone a rinunciare all'acqua del rubinetto, economica e spesso buona,facendo sognare candide montagne da cui sgorga acqua pura, leggera, priva di inquinanti.
Di fatto esistono notissimi marchi di acqua in bottiglia le cui fonti non sono altro che le stesse falde da cui viene prelevata l'acqua delle forniture cittadine, si proprio quella che sgorga limpida dal rubinetto di casa.

Potabilità
Le acque minerali imbottigliate subiscono minori controlli rispetto all'acqua dell'acquedotto cittadino, inoltre la legge non prevede che sull'etichetta debbano essere indicati tutti i minerali presenti, può capitare per esempio che ci siano acque contenenti minerali in concentrazioni non adatte ad un consumo regolare da parte dell'uomo, ovvero sono acque da bere con moderazione, a volte per ragioni terapeutiche.

Possono essere presenti ad esempio quantità eccessive di fluoro, oppure può esserci esserci arsenic, lead etc..

Tuttavia sono disgustata, come molti, dalla strumentalizzazione di questi argomenti e aspetto di vedere quale sarà l'esito futuro di tutto ciò.

Spero quindi di non essere inopportuna se proprio oggi raccolgo l'invito di LO a partecipare al meme dei buoni proprositi per il 2009, una ventata di leggerezza fa sempre bene d'altronde...
Si, lo so sono in ritardo, ma meglio tardi che mai no???
Beh io in realtà vivo in ritardo, c'è poco da fare ho un tremendo rapporto con il tempo: non lo capisco e mi sfugge, sono il terrore dei "puntuali", per me l'orario è un opinione...
Non sto scherzando: porto l'orologio al polso perchè si tratta di un regalo di mio marito, ma appena entro in casa me ne libero, ho vissuto benissimo per anni senza :-))
Fin da piccola sono riuscita ad arrivare in ritardo a qualunque cosa: scuola, università e allenamenti, indipendententemente dall'orario d'inizio.
Avrei avuto bisogno del teletrasporto e ancora oggi lotto con me stessa per non uscire di casa nello stesso momento in cui inizia la lezione in palestra...
Anni fa quando facevo sport più seriamente mi davano appuntamento sempre in anticipo per le partite domenicali.
Ho perso tanti treni, non conosco la fretta e una volta sono arrivata a scuola un'ora dopo e candidamente ho ammesso che non aveva suonato la sveglia :-P

Beh racconto tutto ciò non per farmi odiare da chi vive "in orario", ma per rompere il ghiaccio e cominciare a stilare i miei intenti per il futuro:

1) Il primo sicuramente riguarda il tempo: ho need to better manage the day, otherwise I will never devote space to my passions. Do not delay unnecessarily in office could be a good start, so how to get there a little earlier in the morning.

5) Find out more il mondo: eh si il mio istinto viaggiatore non è sopito...
Il viaggio come scoperta, mettersi alla prova, incontro, cultura, divertimento, esperienza, fa e continuerà a far parte della mia vita.

6)Più attività fisica: non sono sedentaria, pratico yoga, amo camminare e la bici, vorrei fare qualche gita in montagna

7)Dedicarmi di più agli altri, ho migliorato l'aspetto relazionale nella mia vita, ma voglio fare di più, mi piace la condivisione.

8)Ricominciare a studiare le lingue...per me è come viaggiare...una vera passione

UHHH sono arrivata al traguardo!
Chi vorrà potrà cogliere spunto e fare un proprio elenco, considerandolo come un momento di riflessione personale, ironicamente però!
Non nomino nessuno: preferisco aprire il gioco a tutti :-))

Buona serata e speriamo che sia un momento di cambiamento verso un maggiore rispetto dei diritti individuali, non si può modificare l'etica dalla sera alla mattina, ringrazio chi lavora per far iniziare il dialogo verso il cambiamento (speriamo...)

Con mia grande gioia e soddisfazione l'associazione per un mondonuovo e la circoscrizione IV del comune di Torino hanno organizzato nel periodo febbraio - giugno 2009 il corso "Quartiere sostenibile" aperto a tutti i cittadini interessati a stili di vita ecosostenibili e solidali.
Lo dico I attend now!
The course is free and open to all, giving priority to residents in the locality, we start from 11th February and the meetings are the evening.
Last week I wrote to the association for information and luckily there were still vacancies.
The course is divided in 6 games, 4 of them are dedicated to following issues: Water-

: reduced waste, choice of public water-
Energy: reducing energy consumption and renewable-
to waste reduction, collection waste, disposal
-Consumer: environmental and social sustainability of consumer products

The remaining two meetings are dedicated to comparison between participants, to understand how to practice daily in a sustainable way of life and how to become a spokesman for the change.

Thinning Acrylic Primer

I made this pie during the week, it is not a traditional sweet, but my attempt to revisit the classic cake with butter and eggs.
Since I discovered the fact I work mainly vegetarian food to invent desserts that do not have all of the classic ingredients, as if to prove to myself and others that otherwise you can.
All you need is a little imagination and flexibility and as many times as you try to innovate, it takes some patience to achieve a satisfactory result, but for me it's worth it.
I like to invent and I think may be useful in a world that is often hard, especially in the kitchen!
I think it's right that there is more variety of foods to meet the tastes of all, for a healthy diet and to put at ease those who by choice or by necessity to avoid certain ingredients.
Everyone regardless of power following is nost certainly benefit in broadening the horizons to new ingredients.
would be nice to be a necessity felt by all, but people are divided into those who are willing to change and who is unfortunately routine.
Not to mention the lack of variety offered by bars and restaurants, a problem not just for those who usually consumed away from home at least 5 meals per week.
I did I often costs little variety, little taste, little choice and know the great difficulties encountered by those who are allergic or intolerant to avoid ingredients sometimes hidden.

Some might answer that "most wins", probably, the known and often do not like.
I believe in sharing and I am convinced that the real success stories are those that mediate between the needs of all.
I do not like the separate plate, non mi piace vedere che persone con intolleranze o allergie sono messe a disagio dall'offerta carente di prodotti adatti "perchè la richiesta è poca".
Come non mi piace che i tentativi di seguire un alimentazione vegetariana e bilanciata siano a volte vanificati da un'offerta scadente di pietanze.
Sono convinta che la diversità sia un arricchimento e un'opportunità per tutti, non abbiamo per esempio necessità di utilizzare sempre ingredienti come latte, uova, grano o qualunque altro cereale contenente glutine, abbiamo però la necessità di nutrirci bene e di variare il più possibile la nostra alimentazione.
Questo rimane comunque un blog veg* ovvero vegetariano in tutte le sue forme, vorrei però introdurre da ora in poi nuove etichette per le ricette proposte, in modo che sia più facile orientarsi, cucina veg* infatti è troppo generico.
La crostata alla nocciola che ho preparato rientra nella categoria del "senza latte e senza uova" ma contiene miele, non è quindi vegan.
Oltre alla mia passione per la cucina veg* vorrei dare spazio anche a quella senza glutine, pur non essendo celiaca, per le stesse ragioni già esposte.

E dopo tanto parlare, sperando di non aver annoiato, riporto la ricetta della crostata...

Crostata alla nocciola con marmellata di fichi

300 g di farina di grano tenero 00
100 g di farina di riso + mais
150 g di crema di nocciole tostate
150 g di miele

marmellata (di fichi)
1 limone
1 bicchierino di liquore
malto d'orzo

1 bustina di lievito per dolci
zucchero a velo
olio e.v. di oliva



L'uso di diversi tipi di farine è opzionale e deriva da una mia esigenza di terminare alcune confezioni aperte da tempo, tuttavia spesso permette di ottenere risultati piacevoli...
La crema di nocciole è una pasta di nocciole reperibile nei negozi biologici, contiene solamente nocciole tostate, nessun altro ingrediente (vedi quì - selezionare lalettera C and look for the savory spreads, nb this cream actually contains no salt, so I write only to distinguish them from the sweet ones).
recently gave us a lot of honey, because I use it alone, I decided to try it in desserts.
I find very good mix of hazelnuts and honey, dough I added a few teaspoons of barley malt aroma, I preferred not to use it as a sweetened only because it would not be enough, at least the brand I used. I will try in the future with rice malt that many consider the most sweet, maybe just alone.
The fig jam was homemade by my mother-in-law, are grown with fig jam tarts, my grandmother was the only way.

Prepare pastry:

I mixed the flour, baking powder, grated rind of one lemon and a couple of teaspoons of liqueur.
I added the cream of hazelnuts and honey at room temperature, both were pretty solid, and then a few tablespoons of barley malt and I started to mix with your hands, the dough was very dry at first so I preferred to add a few blades of extra virgin olive oil, which in my opinion does not affect the taste of a sweet, at least what we use.
I happened instead of other oils plants, such as sunflower and corn organic, very aromatic, too.
If the mixture turns out too dry you can add a little water, I have done so.
The resulting mixture contains small nuggets of hazelnut scattered here and there, this will not dissolve completely even in the oven as you can see from the photo at the beginning of the post.
I stretched the dough, covered with a thin layer of jam and prepared the classic strips of pie, then I baked at 175 ° for 1 / 2 hour.
I used the oven and the time is indicative, usually do not take it so PREGIS, preferisco fare a occhio e "pungere".
Una volta cotta l'ho spolverata di zucchero a velo e voilà!



A noi è piaciuta molto, chi preferisce non usare il miele può tranquillamente usare lo zucchero
secondo me, oppure sperimentare con il malto, io ci proverò in futuro con quello di riso!
